SEC is the pioneer and oldest CFS in Tuticorin, which was promoted as a consortium by leading port users who have joined together to tap the enormous potential of Container Trade at Tuticorin.

Working towards concrete progress with our infrastructure and state-of-the-art Equipments. The major volume of Export Containers from Tuticorin Port is handled by our CFS from the date of inception of our Company.

The great leap in Container handling at Tuticorin port gave rise to the need for a specialized Container handling service on part with International standards. Aiming at safety, efficiency and competence, SEC Services Ltd, Tuticorin stepped in with a Container Freight Station as an extension to the Port.

Our CFS provides sufficient working space and Computer Equipment, Printers etc… for the Customs Officials for examination of Cargo and to Supervise the stuffing operations. These facilities go a long way in improving the performance and quick processing of documentation system.

Besides stuffing of Containers and cargo safety measures are strictly complied with the adherence of instruction laid down by the Customs preventive Manual as well each of Export Container is being stuffed in presence of our survey along Tally measure supervisions and after completion every container is moved with proper checks to ensure that entire cargo have been stuffed in order and also the Container Seals are found to be intact.

• Proper maintenance of Customs Gate-in-Records for entry & exit of Cargoes.
• 3 Guards for Main Gate & 5 Guards + 1 supervisor for CFS by Day Shifts
• 3 Guards for Main Gate & 4 Guards for CFS area Night Roaming Purpose.
• Four side compound wall with 10 ft. height.
• We have installed 16 CCTV cameras in CFS Godown.

  Besides, our SEC CFS is the only neutral body which contemplating optimum level service patterns to all our customers and we have almost evolved into a total Logistics Service Provider facilitating entire Export trade in Container movements.

Our SEC Container Freight Station had its genesis in the year of 1993 with the prime motivation to facilitate the entire export trade in container movements routed via Tuticorin port and we have evolve into a total logistic service provider, handling wide range of multiple type cargoes over the past 2 decades.

Making container handling at Tuticorin safer, easier and competitive with our CFS, We have deployed state-of-the-art Equipments along weighing Machines for the pupose of customs examination of export consignments and following are the weightment facilities arranged with our cfs.

• PANAMA make 300 kg Capacity Weighing Machine – 2 nos
• AVERY make 500 kg Capacity Weighing Machine.
• ARROW make 150 kg Capacity Weighing Machine.
• ARROW make 30 kg Capacity Weighing Machine.
• GEO make 100 TON Capacity Road Weigh Bridge.

The aforesaid weighing machines are tested and well-maintained in condition, which cater to the specific weighment need of customs as well clients for the multiple dimensional argo vareties moved for onward export clearances routed through our CFS.

The above are our CFS facilitated weighing machines & measuring devices and with all that we are making customs easier in fulfilling their weighment aspects required to be adhered for each and every export consignments, as part of their respective examinations.

Hence we take total responsibility for the safe custody of export cargo till it leave our CFS by the way of providing all such weighment measuring devices and we assure always our hassle/error free services, once the cargo admitted for onward exports.
